The conference which brings together the Procurement and Supplies professional was officially opened by Dr. Ashatu Kijaji, Deputy Minister of Finane and Planning. The conference was open to Procurement and Supply practitioners, Tender Board Members, Accounting Officers, Auditors, Engineers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Pharmacists, Academicians, Consultants, Researchers, Policy makers, Business Community, Non-Government organizations, and other interested persons.

The Agency as a stakeholder in procurement and supplies sought a need of sponsoring the conference so as to facilitate the stakeholders to gain new professional knowledge and improve their performance.
